Facebook has Most Youngest, Stressed but Satisfied Employees

On the other hand, Google staffers are the best paid within the technical market and have low levels of stress. Of course it’s no wonder their staff are so relaxed, Google provides every employee with gourmet meals, massages, game rooms and other perks that aren’t found in most offices. In January, Google employees were given a $1,000 tax-free bonus and 10% pay rise in order to stop staff from defecting to Facebook.Employees at Facebook, the famous social networking site, are the youngest and most stressed out workers in US tech companies, but are considered to be the most satisfied.
The low age at Facebook is not a surprise at all considering the CEO is only 27 years old. "We really don't believe that you have to have a lot of experience to make a big difference”, Zuckerberg explained on the company’s career video website. "Look at me, right? I started this from college."
Large scale tech companies are paid well into the six figures-no surprise considering all the well-paid engineers there are on staff. Also, the workers are paid 23% above the typical pay for the same type of work at a ‘normal’ tech company.

Apple iOS 5: Twitter integration

Twitter integration

This was the other feature we caught wind of this morning, and also one of the most likely new upgrades to hit iOS, but it’s a welcome additional nonetheless. Apple has deeply integrated Twitter within iOS 5, and makes what’s already a simple service mind-numbingly easy to use. iPhones will now have single sign-on service, and outside Twitter clients can pull your login information from here so you won’t have to deal with the hassle. Better yet, native Apple apps now work with Twitter. The Contacts, Camera, Safari, YouTube, Maps, and Photo apps all instantly connect with the microblogging service, meaning by simply tapping you can instantly share content via Twitter. Of course, this largely will be used in junction with Twitter’s new photo sharing service, and your Photos will now have a “Tweet” option for auto-updating your feed.

Shah Rukh Khan more perfectionist then Aamir

Shah Rukh Khan more perfectionist then Aamir

B-town mighty Khans Shah Rukh and Aamir are trendsetters in their marketing techniques. Well the Badshah SRK started it all and Aamir made some interesting innovations to bag the title of the Perfectionist. But recently King Khan gave a display of immense professionalism filled with the perfectionist attitude that can even make the proud title holder Aamir chew his perfectionist hat.
It happened at the sets of Red Chillies Entertainment's 'Always Kabhi Kabhi'.
Shahrukh Khan was present to give the newcomers a lesson on perfection - while on the sets of the song in which SRK makes a special appearance.
So he asked the director Roshan Abbas for the lyrics and would keep rehearsing with choreographer Caesar until he got the steps just right.
And to the amazement of everyone present, Shah Rukh did 20 straight rehearsals until he got satisfied. Obviously the kids were in complete awe of him!
Adds a close hand from the production, "The kids were awe struck watching SRK rehearse-they wondered where all the energy and enthusiasm came from and how he managed to focus on the task minus distractions even after so many years. It was then that Roshan told them that's what makes a superstar."
Says Roshan Abbas, "Shah Rukh's keenness to learn the lyrics and the steps had the kids spellbound. They got to see what goes behind making a superstar first hand. I was shocked to see the energy and vigor they came out with after this experience."
Hmmm that's what we called perfection, doing 20 rehearsals to get the act right and to everyone's satisfaction.
Aamir, are you listening or reading this...?

Apple Newsstand: what does it really mean for publishers?

Apple newsstands :

what does it really mean for publishers?

Snuck into last night's apple world wide developer conference was the announcement of Newsstand, which puts digital newspaper and magazine products into one dedicated place. Much like iBooks, the Newsstand app racks everything up on a wooden shelf (how quaint!) and there's a new section of the App Store set aside specifically for newspaper and magazines.
Once you've subscribed to a publication, Newsstand automatically downloads the new edition when it is published.
This completes the painfully slow move – about nine months – on behalf of apple and news publishers to a digital news service within iTunes.
The first half of the service, which collects payments for subscriptions, launched in February after its debut with News Corp's The Daily news app. Publishers choose the frequency of subscription (from weekly to annual). Until then, publishers such as Condé Nast had been trying individual apps for each publication, and without much satisfaction. Digital titles had required users to download and pay for each edition individually.
